Monty is one of the most sincere people I have ever met. I watched a Pirelli demo on TV and it seemed it was all about him and the horse was just a prop.
I have learned so much from the video lessons and the training is so easy to do. No gimmicks and a master teacher to learn from.

Cheers

I've watched many other trainers on RFDTV, but none have really inspired me as Monty has. The very first time I saw him do Join-Up on TV, I was 8 years old. I was so fascinated with what I saw that I took some of my plastic toy horses I had, and tried to imitate what he did. It was a privilege to meet him in person last year.

Yes, Monty does inspire people. I am always so amazed at how easy and logical his methods are; and how they work!
.
I have only come across Monty Roberts within the last year and I am loving everything I am learning here on the Uni. I hope one day I get to meet him :-)

Hello!

Me too, I was emotional. He understands what horses are telling us because he has been through the same treatment with his father.

Me too!! He truly cares about the horses. It's a blessing to see and learn how to do the same!

Yeah I watched the first lesson of Rocky with a lot of tears in my eyes. Today I watched lesson no 3 and 4 and it really touched me. You are right, Dennis, many other trainers just like to listen to their own talking when working with horses on their videos. Monty is highly concentrated in this demos and - I cannot repeat it often enough - you can tell every moment you watch him that he enjoys what he is doing from the bottom of his heart. He is always searching for a new idea and he does decide in a moment to try something new just to find the best way to help a horse. I didn't know that his father tied a leg of his beloved Brownie too... good god. I remember that he told us during the "special training" class in 2005 0r 2006 that the wood which lies on an old phone box standing in his saloon at home was a rest of Ginger's and Brownies stable which had been torn down. He safed these pieses of wood memorising his love for his first horses. Let's pass on the voice about his method just to make sure one day there is no corner of this world where horsepeople don't know him. This will reduce violence in the horseworld a lot.

Hi I have watched Monty for several years now but only recently attended one of his demos - the one in Bedfordshire in February this year - where he also worked with a headshy horse. I was in tears then and I have been watching the way Monty worked with Rocky. It is just wonderful how he knows just the right way to communicate with horses. Love you Monty.
