About This Week’s Lesson

inviting Abigail and teaching children

Hello! 100 lessons completed 150 lessons completed 200 lessons completed 250 lessons completed 300 lessons completed 350 lessons completed 400 lessons completed

Monty, thank you for another exciting and educational series of lessons. There are three points about the first Abigail video I would like to talk about: 1. I noticed that your invite to Abigail during the Join-Up was different this time. You walked by her shoulder, turned but did not lower your head (and maybe not your eyes) and walk some more steps to stop then and wait for her but you stopped and kept looking at her (or just stood their with eyes lowred?). Then Abigail took one step towards you and you took that to walk away and draw her to you. I have seen you before modifying some movements which for us students usually would be made always in the same manner and I understand that you are doing this to find new fine ways to modify a procedure. In this particular case I am wondering if it has to do with this weeks question on the newsletter ? 2. You start your Join-Up by the wall and not in the center of the round pen. Also something I have seen you doing before but I would love to know if there is a reason for it ? 3. Children: I know a little girl who is scared to death of the dentist. She loves horses. I will take her to the stable when my horse will see the dentist for the first time and I am sure this will help her to overcome her fears as I will explain her very well what is going on and how I have prepared Hero for that day. She will see how much he tries to be good for me and how brave and calm horses can be if they trus us. Can't wait to see the next Abigail lesson ! VioBerlin
