I've never met Martin Clunes except as a character in a show, and I love his work as an actor. It's amazing how he can transform his personality in such a major way as he does in "Doc Martin".
Even more amazing is the Martin Clunes I've "met" in the documentaries he's been in. Sadly, Horse power is yet to be shown in Sweden, but I've seen a show about dogs that was enthralling. Cudos to Mr. Clunes!

Now that I've got that off my chest, what I really wanted to say is;
Did you see his face when he realized that Corky was following him? The pure joy just shining through.
No acting needed there. It was just so lovely to see. Made me smile from ear to ear too.

I too was moved when I watched this video. Only it made me cry.
Every time I see join up done successfully I feel emotion. For me it is one more horse being dealt with fairly.
And the joy each time Martin touched that horse was shown so clearly on his face.

I was lucky enough to be at both of these demonstrations when Martin was there. He enjoyed it so much and with such good humour was a real entertaining evening. One of the many benefits of being a member of Intelligent Horsemanship in the UK means that you get a private audience with Monty at all the shows and it is great seeing him work.

Yes, back in town.... Had a lovely holiday in Italy.
I was looking at Martin Clunes horsepower and it was lovely to see. I saw also this men Jean-Francois Pignon on the beach with his horses and Martin Clunes (you tube). It is amazing what he can do with horses. And what I already thought and what Jean-Francois says is that a horse is very sensitive and is scanning you all the time. And if you don't have love in your hart you will never get a good relationship with your horse. I watched also Jean-Francois Pignon Crinières d'or 2011.mov, on you tube. It is realy unbelievable.
How is My Star doing with the rabbit? Are they already big friends?

Star loves Buggsy. She is so curious and watches him when she is not sleeping.
The true test will be when the snow flies and she is in her stall more, we'll see.
Thank you so much for the site about Jean-Francois, I will be watching it in a minute.
I do those things with STAR, she loves to dance with me and goes around me in tight circles, I love it. I do not need to use a stick, I just use my hands and she follows, it's beautiful to watch, it's like playing with her.
It's also a way of keeping connected with her until she matures enough to be trained for saddle.
My husband will video it for me I will post it on my facebook account.
I have always believed that a horse sences our attitudes and she knows I would never hurt her and therefore trust me.
It has taken almost 2 years to get her this far but the journey has been worth it.
