Its my favorite week of the year because its amazing to see Monty work all week with a deeper issue or go further into the training of a starter. The horses are relaxed and keen to learn in most cases - where on tour its lights, crowds and more challenges. On Flag Is Up Farms, the wonderful team of instructors and interns deftly demonstrate and assist Monty to help cause the horses to advance - whether it be gentling or training. Denise Heinlein was our lead instructor this year and was up for the challenge beautifully. Some amazing Uni lessons will come from this week, I'm sure.
