Hello! 100 lessons completed

in the uk the only standard of instruction available is bhs, starting children to ride ih methods would prevent kids growing into frustrated adults, who don't know why, they just do as has been shouted at them to do. why can't we have riding schools that teach in the same way as we learn in ih courses, we need ih instructors for the kids!

Hello!

I live in Galway in Ireland and my last instructer was fired because she kept shouting so now we have this really nice instructer who never shouts!

I only ride with my current instructor for the jumping experience which I can not get at home. Unfortunately, since I would never use her methods to train my horses, I have had to figure out a lot myself. It sure would be nice to have a trainer that I can trust.

I quit at my riding school because they whiped the horses without asking for the reasons why they did'nt behave in the way they wanted them to.
So now I don't have any teacher/instructor. I do only have some friends around me beeing surprised what a huge effect Monty's methods have. :-)
My only instructors are Monty over the University and the horse I'm working with.
The horse changed the yard with me, and it seems to me as if he is much luckier now. No more kids "riding" him, no more people letting him feel pain.
