Dually - You Beauty!!

I had the opportunity just recently to prove to a traditional horseman that the Dually halter was superior to tying a horses feet up in order to get some medicine into her hoof. After 30 mins of stress I persuaded him to let me try and put a Dually halter on the mare who I backed up and brought forward to me a half dozen times before I picked up her foot and placed it in a bucket to soak her hoof in the medicated water. With comments raining down on me about how "she'll never stand there", "that was a fluke she won't leet you do her other foot as well" and other such remarks. After 10 mins I had had both front hoofs bathed in the liquid while she stood beautifully - the Dually can really be as if like magic, and it has improved my confidence out of sight!

Good on you Stephanie :-)

We had a horse that would not float that the Dually worked wonders for. Such a simple and excellent piece of equipment. Definately an essential item for every horse person's tack room.

Hello!

I recently moved to a new livery yard where there are about 30 horses, as I have a very sharpe young 4 year old gelding, he has been trained with the dually, and I have been watching so many people struggle with thief horses just to lead, then slowly a couple of them asked me about ten dually and I have shown them how it works and tried it with tense horses now they ate off to buy the dually, I wonder how long it will be before they all have one. We will see.
