My horse joins-up, walks approximately a half circle with me then walks to the side of our arena to eat grass. Any advice?

Hi Jen. Welcome to the Uni. Grass is a great distraction to horses. However, your horse is communicating with you - " I've followed you but you're not doing anything interesting so I'm going for food ". The fact that you are getting a half circle of follow up should be an indication that you need to take the conversation to the next level. Study the lessons, progress your relationship, at your horses pace ( be mindful to gently move the boundaries & respect the responses you get ) & always look for reasons to be positive, supportive & quick to praise. Cheers, Jo.
