Horses that will not walk away from the stable or other horse and that come running back home when your done.

Hello!

My mare has this problem to the point I stopped riding her because she would not walk out from barn and from buddies without pitching a fit. I am not experienced enough to tell if she is just very frightened or being disobedient. Either way, her jigging & spinning scared me. When I pressured her to go forward, she escalated her determination to go avoid going forward. Now I read in Monty's Q&A this is called being "Nappy" :-). So we will be working on going forward "WILLINGLY" and hoping this helps. No solutions as of yet. I have also started to longe her in side reins to let her know she will have to work that day, with me or without me on her back. Is she just being mareish? Not sure.
