Kicking Rings - as per Monty Roberts Fix Up DVD

Hello! 100 lessons completed 150 lessons completed 200 lessons completed

Hello
.
I have been trying to locate and purchase a set of Kicking Rings as seen in Monty Roberts' Fix Up DVD for my horse Ranger. He doesn't kick, but has thin hoof walls which chip easily. In the DVD it said that wearing the rings improved hoof condition by increasing blood circulation to the coronet band.
.
I have looked them up on the internet and been to every Saddelry I can find and cannot locate them.
.
Can anyone tell me where I can get them from? Perhaps they would be a good thing for Monty to sell from his online store?
.
Thanks for your time,
.
Kind regards,
.

Hi Gen,
The kickingrings as seen on the DVD have been made especially for this particular horse, since the size of the coronet and that of the narrowest point, where the rings should pass under the fetlockjoint vary from horse to horse. You can find a describtion in "From my hands to yours" and you should find a farrier that is able and willing to make them for your horse.
Good luck,
Miriam

Hi Miriam

Thank you very much for getting back to me and letting me know. I have a good farrier who I am sure will help me out. My copy of "From My Hands to Yours" should be here soon - can't wait to get it :-)

See you later,

Gen
