spurs

Hello! 100 lessons completed 150 lessons completed 200 lessons completed 250 lessons completed 300 lessons completed 350 lessons completed 400 lessons completed

Watching Monty and Cadice riding in the stopping lessons I wondered if there will be lessons about how to use spurs properly. I am a Western rider and I have spurs, very short and smooth ones, but I have never really used them in my every day rinding but just in cutting classes after the trainer told me so. I would like to learn what to look for in the use of spurs, how to use them properly as an extension of the leg and what to avoid when wearing them. The Quarterhorse I mount has been trained harshly and freaks out if she hears the sound of spurs on her riders feet. Thank you, cheers Vio Berlin. P.S. I know that Monty's spurs are covered with rubber and he just uses them for better comunication with his horse - so: please tell us all about it ! :-)

I am glad you asked!
We have a couple of new lessons coming that address spurs for communication - even a new design that seems worthy! Stay tuned...
