I am training a 4 year old horse. He did all the procedures Monty recommends, finally accepted the rider walking. I intended the next step: trot and canter. Two seconds after the rider mounted he was bucked off. Three possible errors: the saddle had shifted too much backwards, another young horse was near the roundpen, the rider was not that sensible as the first ones were. Immediatly afterwards with a new saddle, the other horse away, and the rider the horse knew already everything went smoothly, trot and canter. Similar experiences?
