Hi,
How young is the youngest age that you can do join up with a young horse? Is there a limit on the age at all?

Hi Abi,
Monty says that you can do Join-Up with a weanling, after he has stopped calling for his mother. Maybe you have to help him find comfort in the company of humans first before asking him to Join-Up with you, so touch and groom, feed and keep him company for a while. Help him get used to his surroundings, too.
Hope this gives you the information you're looking for,
Miriam

Dear Abi, when the young horse is WELL unweaned and have settled in nicely with friends at the new place, eating and drinking as he should, you will be fine taking the first step in the roundpen. Please find Montys Gentling your spooky horse - there is DVDs´and you can also find a shorter clip on youtube with Monty! Warmest Ann
