I would like to know if join up works on minis.

Absolutely ILOVEHORSES :) what you would want to have in mind is that the minis already see the world differently - and learns to live with it, from the start. However, you can make it easy for a mini to 1) make sure they can see you (lots of hair on many of them ;) ) and 2) be specific with your hand movements. I often make sure I am at their level ( I get down on my knees) when giving them a head rub. 3) the lines we use can be very heavy with the clip for a mini - try to find something soft and light for lines.And of course - 5-6 laps in a 50 foot round pen is a lot of miles for a mini! Hi. Very little guys usually regard themselves with huge amounts of self importance - my 11.3,Welsh A is definitely 18 hands on the inside! Scale everything down, as previously suggested, to be fair with them & yes, you'll get 'Join up' & 'Follow up'.Enjoy your mini! Cheers, Jo.
