I was given an 7yr old mare a couple of years ago, she would be caught when she felt like it, and only by myself so she had to wear a headcollar in the field all the time..after watching one of montys demonstrations then joining this uni to see how to join up properly i tried it with my mare..Expecting to have trouble catching her afterwards i was surprised how quickly she joined up and followed up with me.
She is so different now, she comes to anyone and doesnt leave your side from the minute you walk into her paddock, she no longer wears a headcollar and is totally confident now...
All i need to do now is break her in!!!

A good reminder is How different We Humans Are when we get a little more knowledge on the language of the horse - when we do it right the horse has an opportunity to do it right ;) Keep up the Good Work!
